Why we exist
Desk shopping is full of marketing claims, and good advice on setting up a workstation is spread across workplace safety regulators, health guidelines and the ATO. We want to bring it together clearly, in one independent place, with links to the official sources.

We write every guide in our own words, based on official sources such as Safe Work Australia, WorkSafe Victoria, WorkSafe Queensland, the Australian Government Department of Health, the Australian Taxation Office and the ACCC. We list our sources on each page. We never invent statistics, prices, product test results, reviews or quotes, and we don't review, rank or recommend desks, brands or shops.
